Two people face felony charges for receiving stolen property. An Etowah County Deputy making a traffic stop near the intersection of Anderson Road and Old US Highway 411 in Gadsden discovered that the 1997 Grand Marquis he stopped was stolen.

The deputy arrested the driver of the car, Jonathan Turner of Gadsden,  and his passenger, Anamae Beltz of Ohatchee. While being handcuffed Turner tried to throw away a bag of an illegal substance.

A search of the car turned up drug paraphernalia and suboxone. Both Turner and Beltz are being held in the Etowah County Detention Center.
