Authorities are searching for two escaped inmates after discovering they were missing during roll call checks on Sunday. Three men escaped from Marshall County Jail on Sunday night. The sheriff’s office says one escapee, Jose Martinez, has already been captured.

Authorities are still looking for the two remaining escapees, Jose Rodriguez, of Boaz, and Abraham Lopez, of Tennessee. All three inmates were in jail for various drug charges before their escape. Anyone with information about the escaped men can call the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

Two people face charges for helping one of the men after his escape. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says Belinda Houk and Hilario Carmona, both of Scottsboro, picked up Jose Martinez on Ringold Street in Guntersville and drove him to their home.

Martinez then left the home on foot. Houk and Carmona now each face a Harboring a Fugitive charge. They are being held in the Marshall County Jail on a $100,000 bond each.
