JSU Remains Perfect In OVC Play

Tuesday, October 31, 2017

It didn’t come easily but Jacksonville State managed to stay perfect in the OVC with a 23-7 win over Southeast Missouri on Saturday. The Gamecocks were the overwhelming favorite to win the league championship, but the last two games have come with a bit of adversity. The Gamecocks were down at halftime at Eastern Illinois and against SEMO the team relied on big plays late in the game to win. Instead of focusing on what might be going wrong, the Gamecocks are pulling the positives out of the games as they get ready for Murray State this week.
