Deputies arrest two minors, one for burglary, and one for bringing a weapon to school. On Monday morning the DeKalb County Sheriff’s School Resource Officer was called to a possible burglary at Fyffe School. When the SRO arrived he found a window had been broken and several classrooms were vandalized with graffiti on the boards.
The school’s security cameras caught the juvenile on camera. The minor was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Probation Office.
Also on Monday a minor was arrested after they brought a BB pistol into a classroom. The Principle and the SRO were immediately contacted. The juvenile was detained and taken to Coosa Valley Detention Center.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with Superintendent Dr. Barnett, on both cases.
