Oxford Police Accepting Toys for Tots Donations

Wednesday, November 29, 2017

A local police department teams up with several other groups to help give some children a magical Christmas. The Oxford Police Department has always participated in Toys for Tots and collecting toys, blankets, bicycles, and more for children during the holiday season. This year, the officers decided to make a goal unlike any other.

Toys for Tots helps hundreds of families every year to make their Christmas one to remember. Oxford Police Department Chief of Police Bill Partridge says it’s important to give back.

Chief Partridge also says the bearcat will be out and about collecting donations and filling up on gifts for children of all ages. If you would like to give a toy, you can drop them off at the police station, fire department or the Oxford library. The last day to donate is December 8th. Chief Partridge even says they will come pick up the gifts.
