Attorneys for a former Anniston High school teacher meet with a Calhoun County judge and prosecutors. In September, 46-year old Shedrick Long turned himself into Anniston police after the Calhoun County District Attorney’s office issued warrants for his arrest on sexual abuse charges related to a student.
Long’s attorneys met for about 20 minutes with the Chief Assistant D.A. to discuss the facts of the case. The Chief Assistant D.A. decided to waive a hearing and send the case to a grand jury. Long worked as a career technology teacher at the high school.
