Wreaths laid at Fort McClellan Cemetery

Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Dozens of people show their support and remember fallen soldiers. Men, women, and children laid wreaths on each of the 353 graves at Fort McClellan Military Cemetery. During the holiday season, communities gather around the country to remember the ones they lost.

Colonel Joel Warhurst says it is always a special day. Each time a boy scout or girl scout places a wreath on a grave, they stand at attention and give a salute to the fallen soldier, thanking them for their service.
