Some people vow to lose weight, others promise to save more money, but this year many people are looking to advance their technology skills. The Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library is holding free computer classes.
Every Thursday, the library will teach the basic skills and necessities. Space is limited so registration is required. The class will last five weeks. Director Teresa Kiser says it makes learning easy and fun.
The class is open to all ages. Anniston resident Dick Cody says he has always had a secretary, but believes it’s time to learn for himself.
Kiser says that space is limited and the library already has a waiting list for the class. For more information about future computer classes you can call or visit their Facebook page.
