A second teen is behind bars in connection to the fatal shooting of an 18 year-old in Gadsden. Gadsden Police Sergeant John Hallman says 16 year-old Kalab Whitworth was involved in the deadly shooting that claimed the life of Aaron Huff on January 4th.

Hallman says officers responded to shots fired on Hoke Street and Litchfield Avenue. Huff was taken to Gadsden Regional Hospital by friends where he later died. Authorities charged 17 year-old Tyler Abbott on Monday with Capital Murder.

Whitworth is being charged as an adult with one count of Capital Murder. He is being held in the Etowah County Jail without bond.
