Shots Fired Into Pleasant Valley Home

An early morning shooting wakes up a community and lands three teens behind bars. Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade says at 4:30am on January 21st, a family on School Cut-Off Road in the Pleasant Valley Community awoke to gun fire. Several rounds were shot into the home hitting appliances and other household items. 

 

Investigators were able to identify three teens involved in the shooting. The first was identified as the ex-boyfriend of the daughter who lived in the home. He and another are charged with Conspiracy to Shoot into an Occupied Dwelling. 

 

The third teen is charged with hiding the firearm used in the crime. Sheriff Wade says investigators worked diligently to solve this crime in less than 36 hours.
