A South Alabama man accused of robbing several banks is indicted. A federal grand jury indicts Kelvin Golden on three counts of armed robbery and two felony gun crimes in connection to three robberies last year.
Golden was identified as a suspect in the April 10th robbery at the BB&T bank on US 78 East in Oxford. A camera captured a picture of him as he held a teller at gunpoint. Cameras also caught Golden leaving the BB&T bank in Pell City on March 31st.
He was finally captured by US Marshals in Florida ten days after the robbery in Oxford. The maximum sentence for armed bank robbery is 25 years. Golden entered a guilty plea earlier this month.
