We all know that fresh fruit should be an important part of your diet. But if you simply don’t like the taste of an apple or orange, can drinking store-bought fruit juice be an alternative? A glass of orange juice is not only a great start to your day, it also provides healthy doses of vitamin C and Potassium.

Other store-bought juices can have high amounts of Calcium. But fruit juices also contain a decent amount of sugar and calories. Which is not good for those watching their weight or blood sugar. Fruit juice can also lack the fiber typically found in fresh fruit.

So what can you do to make sure your fruit juice is the real deal? Look for 100% fruit juice with no sugar added or if you have the time make your own.
