Harley-Davidson Recall

Tuesday, February 13, 2018

A popular motorcycle company recalls thousands of bikes for possible brake problems. Harley-Davidson says more than 30 models from 2008 through 2011 could have faulty brakes. The company says deposits can form on brake parts if the brake fluid isn’t changed every 2 years.

This can cause a valve in the antilock brake control unit to stick. The problem can be fixed with a flushing of the brake fluid. Harley-Davidson says roughly 250,000 bikes, including the CVO Touring and VRSC models, are affected.
