Governor Ivey and Senator Jones Propose Solutions on Protecting Students and Teachers

Two of the state’s top politicians are proposing solutions to protecting children and employees at school. Governor Kay Ivey and U.S. Senator Doug Jones in separate appearances say installing metal detectors at the entrance of public schools could be a solution toward curbing school violence.


 Jones says, people used to complain about metal detectors at airports, but they have gotten used to it.
