Two People in Cherokee County Arrested for Drugs

The Department of Human Resources received a tip that Nicholas Ryals and Kari Thomas were involved with illegal drugs. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation and a small amount of methamphetamine was found when their home was searched. Investigators discovered that the drug was taken while children were in the home. 

 

Both are charged with chemical endangerment, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Ryals and Thomas are being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
