F&M Bank Celebrates Pi Day

Banks are getting pied in the face for a good cause. To celebrate Pi Day, Farmers and Merchants Bank decided to raise money for charities by getting a pie in the face. The idea began about a month ago with a Facebook contest to see who would get the most likes.

The top 3 F&M employees would get a delicious pie to the face. Jacksonville branch manager Collin Cotton came up with the contest idea, but didn’t expect it to get so much attention. The three winners of the contest are: Anniston branch Vice President, Matt Whitaker, Piedmont President, Chad Latta and Jacksonville branch manager, Collin Cotton.

F&M bank will be donating to a charity of each winners choice. Whitaker’s donation will go to United Way, Latta’s will help those at the Piedmont Benevolence Center, and Cotton’s will go to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
