Local students spend the day learning about exciting career paths. 8th graders and high school juniors toured the annual Worlds of Work presented by Eastman. The Worlds of Work expo showcases Agriculture and Natural Resources, Healthcare, Information Technology, and many others.
The expo gives the more than seven-thousand students an opportunity to see what career options they have. Regional Career Coach Tommy Wood says this is an eye-opening event.
Companies displayed tools and equipment used in jobs that students could test out for themselves. Some students interested in the healthcare industry got the chance to scrub in and help to deliver a baby.
