Piedmont Teenagers Arrested for Violent Threats

Two Piedmont teenagers are facing felony charges for two separate incidents. A parent notified the Piedmont Police Department of a possible threat at Piedmont High School earlier this week. After a short investigation, authorities arrested and charged a 13 year-old boy.

 

Then on Wednesday, school staff reported another possible threat. Three hours later, detectives charged 18 year-old Michael McFry with making a terrorist threat. McFry was taken to the Calhoun County Jail.

 

The 13 year-old was taken to the Coosa Valley Detention Center.
