For those interested in helping families and homeowners with debris removal, Calhoun County Emergency Management Agency says to make sure to separate debris into six different categories.
Each of these categories shown on your screen, makes the clean up process more efficient. EMA personnel says it’s also important to remember that when separating these items do not place them in the right-of-way where power crews and first responders will need access.
Calhoun County Engineer Brian Rosenbalm reminds everyone to be patient with city workers. Rosenbalm says that when driving to destinations with debris in the roads, use extreme caution and be aware of your surroundings.
