A Georgia fugitive faces felony charges in connection to child molestation, while another faces charges in connection to drug trafficking. Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver says Cedar Bluff native Damian Ingram was wanted out of Floyd County, Georgia on Child Molestation and Probation Violation charges.
Cherokee County Deputies arrested Ingram at a home in the Ferrell community. Deputies also arrested Magan Knight at the same home. Sheriff’s investigators say they found a large amount of methamphetamine. Both Ingram and Knight are charged with drug trafficking and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both are being held in the Cherokee County Detention Center. Ingram is expected to be transported to Floyd County once he is released.
