A Lincoln man leads police on a chase that ends with the suspect’s arrest. Southside Police received a call of a truck driving recklessly Monday evening around 9:30. When police pulled the truck over on Highway 77, Cameron Gaston gave the officer a fake name and date of birth before driving away.
Police say Gaston eventually lost control of the truck and began running on foot through a field close to Fuhrman Road. Gaston was quickly found and arrested. Police recovered 45 individually wrapped baggies of Marijuana. Officers also discovered Gaston has an active felony warrant in Florida.
He is charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Obstruction of Justice, Attempting to Elude and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
