Georgia Teen Helps Spread Plastic Pollution Awareness in East Alabama

Wednesday, April 4, 2018

A teenager from nearby Cumming, Georgia visited the TV24 studios today as a guest of the Calhoun County's Most Wanted show. 15 year old Hannah Testa is not your average teenager. Hannah is fighting to put an end to plastic pollution around the world.

The Georgia teen delivers presentations urging people to reduce their use of plastic products; and recently helped to spearhead a statewide Plastic Pollution Awareness Day in Georgia. Hannah tells Calhoun County's Most Wanted that plastic water bottles are a huge problem in the U.S.

For more information on how you can reduce your plastic footprint, watch Hannah, along with Chris Wright and Calhoun County Sheriff Matthew Wade, on TV24's Calhoun County's Most Wanted. You can see the new episode on Wednesday at 9am and 2pm... with additional airings throughout the week. You can also visit Hannah's website Hannah4Change.org.
