Jacksonville State University has set up a “One Stop Shop” to help students who are trying to recover from the March 19th tornado. JSU’s Student Affairs Vice President, Dr. Timothy King says given the demand and needs of the students, the One Stop Shop will be open for students who may have lingering questions and concerns.
Recovery services from the Red Cross, Interfaith Ministries, the United Way and legal representation will also be available for students at the One Stop Shop. Since many are without internet at the moment, Eagle Point Church, behind Wal-Mart, is offering students access to their internet cafe from 9am until 12pm.
The Hampton Inn is also offering free clothing for students who are in need. And Billy Graham Ministries has a disaster recovery mobile unit on campus until Saturday, April 7. They are located in the RV lot next to Meehan Hall.
