FEMA and AEMA Assess Damage in Etowah County

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, along with the Alabama Emergency Management Agency are in Etowah County to assess the damage caused by severe storms on March 19th.


Today, FEMA and AEMA conducted an assessment of damage done to individual property such as homes and neighborhoods.


Yesterday, the agencies completed a preliminary Public Assistance assessment, which includes structures and infrastructure owned by the public. Details of the assessments have not yet been released.
