Hundreds gather to celebrate the graduation of a new class of law enforcement. 72 men and women from all over the state of Alabama walked across the stage at the Oxford Civic Center to receive their badges. Secretary of State John Merrill spoke at the graduation and says he has nothing but respect for the graduates.
This is the 173rd graduating class in northeast Alabama. These men and women trained for 3 months to prove they are each capable and professionally ready to become officers of the law.
