A local thrift store is closing its doors. The Salvation Army in Gadsden is shutting down its thrift shop. Captain Dennis Hayes says the program has been struggling the past several years and says it was just time. Hayes tells us that while they are closing the thrift shop, their other programs are thriving. Hayes also says they are always looking for volunteers to help with different programs.
