Cherokee County Sheriff's Office Disposing Unneeded Prescription Drugs

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s office says they are taking back any unneeded prescription drugs as part of the DEA’s national Drug Take-Back campaign. Sheriff Jeff Shaver says that any unused or unwanted pills and other prescription drugs can be taken to the Sheriff’s Office for safe disposal.

He says that the pills that are brought in are pills that can’t end up in the wrong hands. Unneeded drugs can also be taken to local pharmacies for disposal.
