Gaming Day at JSU

Wednesday, April 25, 2018

As a very eventful spring semester draws to a close, JSU students unwind with some Dungeons and Dragons and fun. All day today, Jacksonville State University's Houston Cole Library hosted card games, board games, and video games for students to enjoy amidst the pressure of finals week.

Head of Public Services for the library, John Upchurch says that in the wake of the devastation of last month’s tornado, events like this help bring student life back to normal. Upchurch says the event will pick up in the evening, when the video games take center stage. He expects as many as a hundred and 20 people may be on hand for the fun.
