A job fair gives hundreds of local students the chance to explore future career opportunities. The Etowah County Career Technical Center hosted an Employment Fair for its 208 graduates. More than 20 companies from across the state came to speak with more than 450 students about their future plans.
Etowah County Board of Education Career Coach Katie Davenport says this employment fair is giving all students the chance to plan for their future. Etowah County Career Technical Center continues to give students the experiences to succeed in the competitive workforce and contribute their services within the community.
Guidance Counselor Summer Collins says it’s an exciting time for the school and the students as they take the skills they got through the tech center and thrive in the workforce.
