United Postal Service Gathering Food Donations for Stamp Out Hunger Drive

Putting canned foods near your mailbox this weekend will help many local people who are in need. The Association of Letter Carriers, United Postal Service and many other are teaming up and asking everyone in Calhoun County to participate in the annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive. By placing non-perishable donations in a bag by your mailbox. 

 

The cans will be picked up and distributed to nine different local non-profits throughout the county. Letter Carrier and Secretary of National Association of Letter Carriers Teresa Ross says a little goes a long way. The cans will be picked up this Saturday, May 12th. Make sure to put all your canned goods in a bag near your mailbox.
