On Friday a pair of Cardinals solidified their academic and athletic futures at Sacred Heart. Quin Riggins is headed north to Chicago to play basketball at Roosevelt University. Josh Brown will further his basketball career at Georgia Prep (now known as Atlanta Basketball institute). Both players spent a very successful season with the Cardinals leading the school to its fourth straight 1A title.

Riggins stepped up and filled the shoes of all-state PG D.J. Heath last season. His efforts in the state championship game (18 points, 6 rebounds & 3 assists) helped seal the title for the Cardinals. Brown was Riggins' backup and improved throughout the season. He will take college courses and become a part of the Class of 2019. The pair give Sacred Heart five signees in the last two seasons.
