Defense Logistics Agency Distribution at the Anniston Army Depot has a new commander. Family, close friends, and colleagues gathered to watch as Lt. Col. Michael Lindley relinquished command to Lt. Col. Martin Wennblom.

The change of command took place Tuesday. Lt. Col. Lindley was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his numerous accomplishments while serving as commander. As the commander for the Army’s only small arms storage and distribution facility, he oversaw more than 200 civilians, 35 contractors, and more than $7 billion in inventory.

Lt. Col. Wennblom is looking forward to serving as the DLA Distribution commander for the next two years. The DLA is the nation's leading provider of global distribution support to America’s military.
