It’s hard to believe that it’s already time for college students to prepare for the Fall semester. Jacksonville State University today held its first of ten Gamecock Orientation sessions for the campus.
About 120 incoming freshmen and 200 parents were on hand for the informational and welcome meetings. They met with deans of their programs, academic advisors, and learned about different services and activities that the campus offers.
The students we spoke with told us that they had no hesitation about coming to JSU despite the recent tornado damage. Move-in day at JSU is set for August 18th and the first day of classes for the fall semester is August 21st.
