Wednesday, June 13, 2018

Some of our military veterans are getting key technology training to help them re-enter the civilian workforce after serving our country. Gadsden State Community College held what’s called Tech Tuesday for people who are currently enrolled in the Veterans Upward Bound Program. The pre-college program is 100% funded by the federal government. Veterans who have served for 181 days or more are eligible to enroll.

The Veterans Upward Bound Program at Gadsden State also offers literacy classes, tutoring, book loans and more. The program is offered at the main Gadsden Campus as well as the Ayers Campus in Anniston and the McClellan campus.
