Honda has announced another expansion to its plant in Lincoln. The car manufacturing company has decided to inject $54.8 million into the Alabama facility to add more than 50,000 square feet to the Line 2 operations. This expansion also comes with an approval for tax abatement on the $54.8 million expansion.
Last year Honda spent $85 million to expand the Lincoln’s factory’s Line 1 operations which will be complete next month. Honda has established more than 4,500 jobs in Alabama and invested more than $2.6 billion in its plant that produces well over 340,000 vehicles on an annual basis.
