Alabama EMA Awards the City of Jacksonville with Reimbursement Grant

The City of Jacksonville was awarded last night with grant funds totaling more than $940,000. The money comes from the Alabama Emergency Management Agency to aid Jacksonville in the tornado recovery efforts. This picture was taken from the Alabama EMA’s Facebook page that shows EMA Director Brian Hastings presenting the City of Jacksonville with the federal aid check. Hasting says the reimbursement check will cover 75% of the money spent by the city to clean up debris from the March 19th tornados.
