Kids Get a Glance Into the College Life

Today was a special day for some students who got to opportunity to get a head start on their college degrees. Children throughout the community participated in JSU’s first annual Kids College program.

The program was created to spark a different approach on teaching kids. Professors from each department were invited into the kid’s corner at the Houston Library to share different lessons with the children. Dean of Library services John-baver Graham says it’s all about getting the kids involved.

The program hosted more than 50 students. The children all passed each course, received their diploma, and got a job well done handshake for cocky. Graham says the University is looking forward to the future years with the program and hope some students return to become professional graduates from JSU.
