Bicentennial Exhibit Making its Way to Cherokee County


The state’s Bicentennial Exhibit is making its way to East Alabama. The Cherokee County Historical Museum in downtown Centre will host the ‘Making Alabama’ Exhibit presented by the Alabama Humanities Foundation.

The Exhibit shows the history of Alabama through artwork, photos, and printed explanations on giant panels. The exhibit is open to the public and admission to the museum will be free while the exhibit is in town.

The grand opening is Saturday August 4th from 10am to 2pm. The exhibit will be on display until August 24th. The hours are Tuesday through Friday 9am until 4pm and Saturday’s from 10am till 2pm.
