A traveling exhibit has made its way to Anniston. Making Alabama bicentennial traveling exhibit is a statewide celebration of 200 years of statehood. The exhibit is presented by the Alabama Humanities Foundation and the Alabama Department of Archives and History.
The Exhibit shows the history of Alabama through artistic collages, photos, and printed explanations on giant panels. Anniston Public Library Director Teresa Kiser says this is an exhibit you do not want to miss.
The celebration exhibit is at the Anniston Public Library until August 28th. The exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 6pm, Saturdays from 1:30 to 5pm and on the first and third Sundays from 1:30 to 5pm. The traveling exhibit will stop in all 67 counties before December of 2019.
