US Military Gets Pay Raise
President Trump signed a $717 billion National Defense Authorization Act that includes a 2.6% pay increase for military personnel. This is their largest pay raise in nine years.
According to Military.com, a proposed active duty pay chart shows enlisted senior and junior officers will get an annual raise of more than $1,200 and junior enlisted troops will get an annual raise of more than $600.
This bill is also projected to add more troops, weapons, and equipment. The pay increase will go into effect beginning October first.
