United Way Volunteer Renovation

United Way of East Central Alabama needs the community’s help with their next big project. The United Way headquarters hasn’t been upgraded since the organization moved in the building in 1994. United Way finally has the funding to renovate their entire office but wants to make sure they use the money wisely.

With the demolition process out of the way, volunteers are needed on Friday to help paint the inside of the building. President and CEO Shannon Jenkins had volunteers come out today to begin painting and says he is thankful for the community.

For those who would like to volunteer, painting will resume Friday beginning at 8AM at the United Way of East Alabama Headquarters on Wilmer Avenue in Anniston.
