A beloved Gadsden pavilion has officially reopened. The Kiwanis Pavilion at Noccalula Falls Park had been under renovations for several months. The renovations included an extended entrance, bigger offices, remodeled bathrooms and kitchen, as well as an added conference room.
The pavilion was previously used for numerous family reunions which will still take place but have more space for bigger families. Now the pavilion will be a location for weddings and other formal events. Noccalula Falls Park Supervisor says she’s thrilled to have the pavilion reopen.
Richardson adds that the park will begin constructing a new parking lot next to the pavilion that will allow easier access to the facility and playground by adding 29 additional parking spaces.
