JSU Football Enters Game Week

After three weeks of hard camp practice, the Jacksonville State football team enters the time of year all teams love: game week. The Gamecocks are set to face No. 14 North Carolina A&T in the season opener this Saturday in Montgomery in the Guardian FCS Kickoff. One of the most intriguing position battles has been at quarterback with returner Zion Webb and Clemson transfer Zerrick Cooper. Head Coach John Grass says he will not name a starter before the game but says both guys will play through the year.

The Gamecocks and Aggies square off at 6:00 p.m. at the Cramton Bowl on ESPN.
