A new restaurant will soon be added to Gadsden’s Riverfront. Mayor Sherman Guyton announced earlier today during the city council meeting that a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant will be built at Coosa Landing between Riverwalk and the Venue. The City of Gadsden is currently renovating the former Kmart into the Venue.
The Venue was projected to jumpstart a development along the river. The development itself will cost $4 million and employ 120 people in the area. Mayor Guyton says Gadsden is a place that is slowly growing and already attracting thousands of visitors.
Buffalo Wild Wings is estimated to be complete sometime in October and the Venue is set to open before the end of September.
