Election Day for the City of Gadsden

Tomorrow is Election Day for the City of Gadsden and it’s important that you go out and cast your vote. Several important positions are up for grabs including the mayor’s office and seven city council seats. Election locations have been marked and are already posted to the cities website for participants to find.


With the City of Gadsden constantly evolving, it’s important that the community gets out to make sure your voice is heard during Election Day. City Clerk Iva Nelson shares the newest method the city has obtained on how easily the votes are tallied. 


Polling sites in Gadsden will be open tomorrow from 7am until 7pm. The city will also have a viewing area where people can go to watch elections returns. The location will be on the first floor of the City Hall building inside the Council Chambers on Tuesday evening. 


The public is welcome to attend to watch live as the ballot results start rolling in. If you can’t make it to the live viewing ballot numbers will be shown on the cities website at www.CityofGadsden.com
