Weaver City Hall Gets System Upgrade

Weaver City Hall is getting a much needed systems upgrade. A new modern internet based phone system along with new security locks are just a few upgrades beginning to take place at Weaver City Hall. The new internet based phone system will have all new phones, an automated call router, call forwarding, along with more open lines in case of emergencies.

The internet based system will also provide a voicemail system that goes directly to the employee’s email or cell phone. By establishing this modern system, the city will save an extra $200 monthly. Mayor Wayne Willis says although this is a small transition, he wants residents to be patient as city hall takes steps to modernize Weaver.

Mayor Willis also says the building will be equipped with new security locks to keep better track of who has access inside the building.

The system upgrades are expected to be complete before the week is out.
