JSU's Food Court Renovation

JSU gave the Theron Montgomery Building food court a much needed upgrade. Renovations to the TMB began in May as a student survey passed around campus suggested the food court cater more to the students’ wants. The upgrade was planned well before the March 19th tornado initiated renovations campus wide.

The CockyQ Grille was removed so that Chick-fil-A could be expanded into a more restaurant style rather than an express flow. Baja Fresh was also replaced with a new dining option, Mein Bowl. Mein Bowl was chosen at the students request for a chinese fast food option. Freshens Food Studio remains in its same location with a different look. The Unit Marketing Coordinator explains why it’s important to cater to the student’s wants and needs. Brown also adds that a new outdoor lounge area will be created and will have a fireplace. The outdoor area will add 50 extra seats that is sure to be another popular student hangout spot.
