Calhoun County Chamber Member Appreciation Day


Today was filled with laughter, games, and love as the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Member Appreciation Day. Earlier today, chamber members got the opportunity to participate in the annual Member Appreciation Day filled with lots of free activities and food. Members spent the day enjoying adult tricycle races, paper plane contests, cornhole, a co-op-a-walk and more at the Oxford Civic Center.

JSU’s very on Cocky even made an appearance to show that Jacksonville State University appreciates the Chamber of Commerce. Washin’ Coin Laundry sponsored the chamber’s first ever ‘Down you Go’ water activity that drew a lot of attention and fun for the members. Chamber Ambassador and Vice Chairman Tony LaRussa explains why the Calhoun County Chamber looks forward to hosting this event every year.

LaRussa also says every year the chamber continues to grow bigger and bigger and they are excited to see what surprises next year will bring for the adult-filled event.
