Talladega Superspeedway Offering Refuge

With the threat of Hurricane Florence continuing to grow and evacuees heading towards Atlanta and Birmingham, the Talladega Superspeedway will offer a portion of its campgrounds free to people and families seeking refuge. The campground is set to open Thursday morning at 9am.

It’s a safe destination for people who need to bring campers, RV’s, trailers and vehicles to escape Hurricane Florence. The campground includes hot showers and restroom facilities along with water hookups on gravel areas. Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch says they hope to provide a sense of relief for evacuees free of charge. Directional Signage will be at the main entrance of the track.
