Suspension Bridge Almost Complete at Noccalula Falls Park

Noccalula Falls is adding the finishing touches to a project that is guaranteed to bring even more attention to the park. The suspension bridge being built inside Noccalula Falls Park is almost complete for hikers, runners, and tourist to enjoy. The bridge is nearly 100 feet long that crosses Black Creek.

The structure however, does not take away from the view of the waterfall nor is it located near the waterfall. The bridge is located at the intersection of Cascade Creek and Black Creek that will make crossing the creek safer for people. The elevated suspension bridge can be seen from the Black Creek trail. Assistant to Mayor Shane Ellison says this is a one of a kind bridge.

Ellison also says the structure is currently being built exactly where the trolley bridge used to existence many decades ago. The bridge is expected to have a grand opening and dedication before the year is out and more plans to better access the bridge are to come in the near future.
